The second time
I just got back late Thursday night from my second trip to Cabarete. The weather and the resort was much better this time. I quite enjoid the greater selection of good food and drinks plus the super animation team which put on some very nice evening shows. They also had a number of day time activities - from aqua fitnes and water polo to latino dancing lessons and beach volley ball. It all added up to a very nice stay.

I met a number of people from various parts of the world, even quite a few from Austria. Please let me know if you have any photos I could add to this album.

It's still quite cold in Toronto. Managed to get a reservation at the Starz Resort, Azurro Club in Cabarete for four weeks. I also noticed the official Seagrape Beach Club web site as I was searching for a good flight deal Toronto- Puerto Plata return. I was quite surprised when I found the lowest price at my own Travelocity Canada site which pays me a commission ... so my cost will be Cnd$758.21 less my cut on the deal. I have also just heard that they have real good deals on Canadian and US Cruises right now, if anyone is interested ...

Lars Wuttke sent me an email from Sweden recently. Was hoping a few of you will send me photos I could add to this site here. I'll be sending another email to all of you regarding this question. I hope you will stop by this blog and add a few comments ... will keep you posted.

Before I even finished setting up this blog, I noticed Tina on MSN IM telling me about Ozz and Anne. They are in the photo with Phil called 'UK super team' in this album here ...
Dominican Republic - Dec. 2004 I also heard from Sergej. He called from Sweden. I hope to exchange a few photos with him. Antje from Germany (antje.szardning@t-online.de) who was there with her mom on her 60th birthday sent me a note. I was hoping she would give John my email address. I got to know John on my first ride into Cabarete. He was happy singing in the back of the free bus we used to take into town. He is originally from Italy but has a nice English accent by now. Maybe Anne or Ozz will know how to get hold of him ...
